Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice
What health data LifeLeaf collects, why, who receives it, and how you control it.
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This notice sits alongside our Privacy Policy and takes precedence for consumer health data.
What this covers
Consumer health data — information that identifies your past, present or future physical or mental health status, including information derived or inferred by our algorithms. For LifeLeaf: your wrist sensor signals and readings, your Stability, Recovery and Balance scores, your LifeLeaf Age, your profile (age, sex, height, weight and skin type), the mode you chose and the answers you gave when setting it up, your coaching history, and anything you tell us about your health.
It applies to everyone, and gives specific rights to residents of Washington, Nevada and Connecticut.
What we collect, and why
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your profile: age, sex, height, weight and skin type | Required. LifeLeaf uses it together with your wrist signal to calculate every reading — the way a scale needs your height to work out BMI |
| Wrist sensor signals and the readings derived from them | To show you your trends and calculate your scores |
| Your scores, trends and LifeLeaf Age | To show you what is changing and to power coaching |
| Mode selection and setup answers | To make coaching relevant to your situation |
| Coaching interactions | To avoid repeating advice you have dismissed |
| What you tell us in support | To help you |
We collect it from you and from your device, and nowhere else. We do not buy health data, and we do not infer it from your browsing.
Your consent
We ask before we collect, and we ask again before we share. Two separate consents:
- Collection consent, given during app setup, before any health data is collected.
- Sharing consent, requested separately and only in the specific circumstances below.
Either can be withdrawn at any time in your account settings or by writing to privacy@lifeplus.ai. Withdrawing stops future collection or sharing; it does not undo what already happened, but you can delete that too. Because your profile and wrist signal are needed to calculate readings, withdrawing collection consent means LifeLeaf can no longer produce them.
Who receives it
Service providers, under contract — hosting, and the tooling that runs the app. They may use it only to provide that service to us.
Nobody else, unless you ask. Specifically:
- We do not sell consumer health data. Ever. Not for money, not for anything else of value.
- We do not share consumer health data with advertising platforms, for targeting, for measurement, or in any other form.
- We do not share it with employers, insurers, data brokers or health systems.
- We share it with your clinician only when you send it, using Reports, to the recipient you choose.
- We use de-identified and aggregated data for product improvement and research. De-identified data is not consumer health data under these laws, and we commit not to re-identify it or permit anyone else to.
Your rights
At any time you may:
- See what health data we hold and a list of everyone it has been shared with;
- Withdraw either consent;
- Delete your health data — from our live systems, our backups on their normal cycle, and by written instruction to every service provider. We confirm when it is done.
Write to privacy@lifeplus.ai with the subject “Health data request.” We respond within 45 days and may extend once by 45 days if we tell you why. No charge. If we decline, we say why and how to appeal.
Your subscription does not affect these rights. If your subscription lapses, your health data remains yours, remains preserved, and remains exportable and deletable on request.
Washington residents: the My Health My Data Act gives you a private right of action if we get this wrong. We would rather you write to us first, but that right is yours.
