Terms of Use and Sale
Last updated: September 18, 2026
THESE TERMS INCLUDE A BINDING ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND A CLASS-ACTION WAIVER IN SECTION 14. THEY AFFECT HOW DISPUTES BETWEEN US ARE RESOLVED. YOU MAY OPT OUT WITHIN 30 DAYS — SECTION 14.6 EXPLAINS HOW.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and LifePlus, Inc., a Delaware corporation at 1625 The Alameda, Suite 406, San Jose, CA 95126. They cover this website, the LifeLeaf app, and the purchase of LifeLeaf devices and subscriptions. By using the site or buying from us, you accept them.
2. You must be 18
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. LifeLeaf is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly sell to minors.
3. What LifeLeaf is — and is not
LifeLeaf is a general wellness product. It shows trends and patterns to help you understand how your habits affect your body.
LifeLeaf is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or condition. It does not replace any device your clinician prescribed, any test they ordered, or any advice they gave you.
Do not use LifeLeaf to make medical decisions. Do not start, stop or change any medication, treatment or therapy based on what LifeLeaf shows you.
In an emergency, call emergency services. LifeLeaf does not monitor you, does not alert anyone, and cannot summon help.
Specific limits you should understand:
- Glucose and blood-pressure figures in the app are estimates derived from wrist sensing, not direct measurements, and carry more uncertainty than a cleared medical device.
- Blood pressure is shown as an hourly average with a trend note, not as a spot reading. A single cuffless reading varies more than a cuff does, and accuracy narrows in the higher ranges. It is not a substitute for a cuff.
- Glucose is shown as your position in a range, not as a single value, because a number without context is not something you can act on.
- Pregnancy mode is not a fetal monitor and is not a medical device. It does not monitor a baby’s heart rate, movement or wellbeing, and it cannot detect any pregnancy complication.
- The medication companion mode is not a medication manager. LifeLeaf never gives dosing advice, never tells you to change a dose, and is not a substitute for your prescriber.
- LifeLeaf Age is a wellness estimate for curiosity and motivation. It is not a validated biological-age test.
- LifeLeaf tells you when its data is thin or its signal is uncertain. When it says it is not confident, believe it.
4. Your account
Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly at info@lifeplus.ai if something looks wrong. You are responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it current. We may suspend or close an account for breach, fraud, or where required by law — with notice, unless notice would be unlawful or unsafe.
5. Buying a device
Prices and availability
Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax and shipping unless stated. We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order. We may refuse or cancel an order for a pricing or description error, for suspected fraud, or if we cannot supply — and will refund you in full.
Shipping
DTC orders ship within the United States only. Kickstarter rewards ship to the countries stated in the campaign. You are responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs charges in your country.
Backer priority
Kickstarter backers are fulfilled before DTC orders. If you order before backer fulfilment is complete, your order is a pre‑order and the product page tells you the expected window before you pay.
Pre‑orders and delivery dates
For any order where we take payment before shipping — including the December 2026 Founder’s Pre‑Order — we state the expected ship date before you order. If we cannot ship within that window, we will notify you and give you the choice of a new date or a full refund, and if you do not respond we will refund you. This is your right under federal law and we will honour it without argument.
Delivery estimates are estimates. Hardware timelines move. We will tell you when they do.
Risk and title pass to you on delivery.
6. The subscription — please read this
A LifeLeaf subscription is required. The device works with the LifeLeaf app, and the app’s scores, coaching, trends, reports and modes require an active subscription. Your purchase price does not include a permanent right to those features.
Price
$9.99 per month, or $99.00 per year. Prices exclude tax.
Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically — monthly plans each month, annual plans each year — and we charge the payment method on file until you cancel. We will email you before each annual renewal and before any price change.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time from your account, in a few clicks, with no phone call and no retention gauntlet. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund the unused part of a period except where the law requires it or where we have got something wrong.
Included subscription terms
Some Kickstarter tiers and promotions include a subscription period — for example, the December 2026 Founder’s Pre‑Order includes 12 months. When that period ends, the subscription does not stop — it converts to a paid, automatically renewing subscription at the then-current price, and we will email you at least 30 days before it does. You can cancel before then.
What happens if your subscription lapses
- Your device stops recording and analysing. Scores, coaching, trends, reports and modes stop.
- Your data is not deleted. It is preserved, and it is restored if you resubscribe.
- You can export all of your data at any time, subscribed or not. This right does not depend on payment and we will not remove it.
Changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. If you do not want the new price, cancel before it takes effect.
7. Returns, refunds and the guarantee
The $2 reservation is fully refundable at any time, for any reason. Email us and we return it.
DTC device purchases: 30 days from delivery. If LifeLeaf is not for you, tell us within 30 days of delivery and return it in reasonable condition with everything it came with, and we refund the device price. We provide the return label. Shipping charges are not refunded. One guarantee return per customer.
Kickstarter rewards are not purchases and are not covered by the 30-day guarantee. Kickstarter is a funding platform, not a store. Backing a project supports its creation; it is not an order. We say this plainly because it is easy to misunderstand, and it is stated the same way on the campaign page. Our obligations to backers are those set out in the campaign and in Kickstarter’s own terms.
Faulty devices are covered by the warranty in Section 8, whenever the fault appears.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, your statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days applies in addition to, and is not limited by, anything in this section.
8. Warranty
We warrant the LifeLeaf device against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of delivery. If it fails in normal use within that period, we repair or replace it, at our option, at no cost to you. Your warranty does not depend on your subscription — it runs for the full year whether or not you are subscribed.
What is covered: defects in materials and workmanship in normal use. What is not: accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised modification, and normal wear to the strap. Limit: one replacement device per warranty term.
If you live in the EEA or the UK, your statutory rights in respect of goods that do not conform to the contract apply in addition to this warranty, are provided free of charge, and are not affected or limited by it. In the European Union those rights last at least two years from delivery and some member states provide longer; in the United Kingdom they are not fixed to a period and are set by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This warranty is a voluntary commercial guarantee given on top of them, never in place of them.
Except for the above, and to the fullest extent the law allows, LifeLeaf and the app are provided “as is” and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some states do not allow these exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you.
9. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to LifeLeaf will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Some states do not allow these limits, in which case they do not apply to you.
10. Your content and feedback
Anything you post publicly you license to us to use, display and distribute in connection with LifeLeaf. Do not post anything you do not have the right to post. Feedback and suggestions may be used freely without obligation.
11. Our content
The site, the app, the LifeLeaf and LifePlus names and logos, our designs, text, graphics and software are ours or our licensors’. You may use them to use the product. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, scrape or redistribute them, or use our brand without written permission. Press: see the Press Kit, which grants specific permissions for approved assets.
12. Acceptable use
Do not: break the law with our product · interfere with the site or the app · scrape or automate access without permission · attempt to access another user’s data · misrepresent LifeLeaf’s capabilities to anyone else.
13. Ending this agreement
You may stop using LifeLeaf at any time and close your account. We may suspend or end your access for breach, with notice where practical. Sections 3, 8, 9, 11, 14 and 15 survive.
14. Disputes — arbitration and class-action waiver
14.1 Talk to us first
Before starting arbitration, send written notice of the dispute to legal@lifeplus.ai describing the problem and what you want. We will do the same for you. We each agree to try in good faith to resolve it informally for 45 days. Most things end here.
14.2 Arbitration
If we cannot resolve it, you and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, LifeLeaf, or our relationship will be resolved by final and binding arbitration before a single arbitrator, rather than in court, and that the Federal Arbitration Act governs this agreement. Arbitration is administered by the American Arbitration Association under its consumer rules. The arbitrator, not a court, decides all issues — except as stated in 14.4.
14.3 How it works
Arbitration is less formal than a lawsuit. We pay the arbitration filing and administrative fees for claims under $10,000 unless the arbitrator finds the claim frivolous. You may appear by phone or video. The arbitrator can award the same individual relief a court could.
14.4 Class-action waiver
You and we each waive the right to bring or participate in any class, collective, consolidated or representative action. The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party seeking it. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim — and only that claim — proceeds in court, and the rest of this Section 14 still applies to everything else.
14.5 What is excluded
Either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either may seek an injunction in court to protect intellectual property. Nothing here prevents you from reporting a concern to a government agency.
14.6 How to opt out — please read this
You may reject this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@lifeplus.ai with the subject “Arbitration opt-out” within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Include your name and the email on your account. That is all. Opting out costs you nothing, changes nothing else about your relationship with us, and we will never treat you differently for it. If you opt out, disputes go to the courts in 14.7.
14.7 If arbitration does not apply
Delaware law governs, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive venue is the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and we each consent to their jurisdiction.
14.8 If you are in the EEA or the UK
This Section 14 does not apply to you. Your consumer rights, and your right to bring proceedings in your own country’s courts, are unaffected.
14.9 Time limit
Any claim must be brought within one year of when it arose, or it is barred — except where a longer period is required by law.
15. Everything else
Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email you and post notice at least 30 days beforehand. Changes never apply retroactively to a dispute that already exists, and material changes to Section 14 give you a fresh 30-day opt-out window.
Whole agreement
These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice are the whole agreement between us.
Severability
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stands. No waiver. Not enforcing something once does not waive it. Assignment. You may not assign these terms. We may, in a merger or sale, on notice.
